Booking rules by state
Oregon state park camping reservations
How far ahead you can book, what time dates open, and the rules that trip people up.
The rules
- Reservations open 6 months before arrival, one day at a time. New sites come online at 6 a.m. daily. Source, checked November 2, 2026
- Same-day online reservations work at most campgrounds, and the $10 reservation fee is waived for them. Source, checked November 2, 2026
- You can cancel online up to one day before arrival; on the day itself, call the park. Source, checked November 2, 2026
Book on ReserveAmerica (Oregon State Parks), the official system run for Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
Check a Oregon campground
Pick a campground, the Multnomah Falls permit or the Enchantments lottery, and your date. You'll get the day and time it becomes bookable, and a calendar reminder.
Campground guides: Silver Falls State Park, Fort Stevens State Park. More Oregon campgrounds follow the same rule; the tool on the home page covers them as we add them.
Get the reminder by email
One email before the big Pacific Northwest dates (the Enchantments lottery in February, the first Multnomah Falls permit releases in May) and when an agency changes its booking rules. Nothing else.
Before any reminder, you'll get one email asking you to confirm. It comes from New England Reservations (hello@newenglandreservations.com), our sister site. Unsubscribe anytime. See the privacy policy.
